Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters بر اساس کتاب پرفروش سال 2007 با نام آکادمی خون آشام نوشته ی Richelle Mead ساخته شده است.این فیلم را Mark Waters کارگردانی کرده است."آکادمی خون آشام" در تاریخ 7 فوریه 2014 در آمریکا و در تابستان 2014 در سایر کشورها اکران خواهد شد.این فیلم در آمریکا توسط The Weinstein Company پخش خواهد شد.

خلاصه داستان:
رز یک دمپایر است ( دمپایر ها از ازدواج خون آشام و انسان به وجود آمده اند و وظیفشان مراقبت از خون آشامی است که مسئولیت او را بر عهده دارند.) او نگهبان لیزا که پرنسس آینده ی خون آشامان است می شود ولی بنا به اجبار مدتی است که از آکادمی که محل زندگی خون آشامان و دمپایر ها است فرار کرده اند. وظیفه ی رز محافظت از لیزا در برابر تشنگی، خون آشام های شرور و استراگری ها است. استراگری ها دشمنان خون آشامان هستند و این داستان رز است.
